1 – Create a free, perhaps more simplified version of your paid spreadsheet with less functionality and features.
2 – Include in the free version information that a fuller and richer version is available and provide all the details of the additional features and functionality of the full version in the free spreadsheet. Also include hyperlinks to your Excelville.com profile page where they can get the full version.
3 – Then upload the free version to both Excelville.com and the Microsoft Excel Template system. Then people can see your template whenever they open a new file in Excel 2007 or later. They download your free file and now have all the info they need to go and buy the full paid version.
